Saturday was Halloween! Shane, Chelise, Jeffrey, Krista, Steve and I gathered at Krista’s house to drink cider, watch the cartoon movie “Ichabod Crane" and munch on these taste bud ticklers:

Weekend Mirths
Friday our church had their annual chili-cook off and Halloween costume contest and Jeffrey won the chili-cook off!! He made the chili all by himself!! Really he threw it together an hour before the cook off so we both felt guilty about winning, and we are on the Activities Committee so we bought the prize so that was a little anti-climatic. If anyone wants a gift card to Chili’s restaurant, we can give provide. What we can’t give you though is the recipe to the award-winning chili. Sorry. I’ll give you a hint: it was a white chili.
