Sawyer's first attempt at coloring eggs (almost) all by himself! He requested that all of his eggs be blue, but since the blue and the green looked really similar, I may have accidentally dropped eggs in the green for variation.....
We tried out these supposedly "no-spill" egg coloring kits, and this supposedly "volcano egg" coloring kit-the crayon shaving one-but as we all know, those things never really work.
Aside from blue dye, what got Sawyer most excited was learning how to peel an egg. He's in a big constructive, destructive phase right now, so making the pretty eggs and then getting to roll them around and smash them and poke their innards was extensively entertaining.
After all that dye-spill crisis control and after having to throw some 'bows to dye any egg on my own, I needed to peel a good old Cadbury.
